Media And Buffer Mixing Using The Xcellerex™ Magnetic Mixer

A common requirement for media and buffer preparation in biopharmaceutical processing is powder-liquid mixing. Achieving complete mixing within an acceptable timeframe can be challenging. Insufficient power input from a mixer can prevent vortex formation, jeopardizing the mixing process. To address this, we assessed the mixing performance of the Xcellerex™ magnetic mixer 3000 L system for preparing aqueous solutions.
