A resource for the leaders of early-stage biopharmas

New and emerging biopharma leaders are embarking on an exciting journey across a landscape marked by significant scientific, organizational, and regulatory dynamics. No path through this landscape is ever the same, and the uncharted territory encountered along the way leads to a host of uncertainties.

That’s why, in partnership with Life Science Connect’s BioProcess Online, Cytiva launched The Business Of Biotech podcast in April, 2020. Our goal with this podcast series is to cover organizational, funding, regulatory, and process considerations for new and emerging biopharma companies through interviews with biotech execs that have forged an entrepreneurial biopharma path—in many cases, multiple times. These interviews cover their tribulations and their victories, and they offer sound and transparent advice for the leaders of new biotech entities.

To kick off the series, we invited multi-time founder, board member, and advisor Allan Shaw on the show to give us insight into the topics we’ll cover in our first season. This post offers some of his gems.
