ÄKTA start

ÄKTA start is a preparative chromatography system for laboratory scale protein purification. ÄKTA start is designed as a stand-alone system, with intuitive design, simple flow path, and user-friendly interface. With ÄKTA start it is easy to purify a wide variety of proteins using built-in quick start methods or predefined templates, or by creating your own methods.

ÄKTA avant

ÄKTA avant is a preparative chromatography system designed for rapid and secure development of scalable chromatographic methods and processes. ÄKTA avant offers a complete solution for rapid, high-quality protein separations while maintaining flexibility and reliability.

ÄKTAprocess™

ÄKTAprocess™ is an automated liquid chromatography system built for process scale-up and large-scale biopharmaceutical manufacturing. The proven design has been verified during development and can be userconfigured to meet specific process demands. The system is available in three flow rate ranges that extend up to 1800 l/h for large volume manufacturing.

Inline Conditioning (IC)

Cytiva has delivered a wide range of IC systems, providing a reproducible, fully automated IC process. Inline conditioning (IC) is a solution for researchers and process engineers who need to formulate buffer solutions
precisely at the time of use, using stock solutions of the buffer components. When using inline conditioning, the
storage of prepared buffer is eliminated (thus reducing facility space limitations) and time and effort to transport
and maintain buffer containers is reduced.

UNICORN Control System

UNICORN is the control system for real-time control of protein purification unit operations (column packing, chromatography and filtration) from laboratory bench, through development, to full-scale production. UNICORN control system meets the needs of full-scale production with manufacturing systems, while maintaining the flexibility needed for method and process development with the range of systems in the ÄKTA family.
